Leave requests your managers can actually judge
Time-off requests with an appointed covering peer, automatic working-day counts, and project-allocation context shown to the approver: decisions made with the full picture, and everyone stays notified.
Built for: A covering peer on every request, Approvers decide with allocation context, Email and in-app notifications throughout.
What you get
-
Requests with a covering peer
Every request names one colleague who takes cover, so handovers are explicit, not assumed.
-
Working-day counts
Leave is counted in working days automatically, so approval discussions are about the absence, not the math.
-
Allocation context at approval
When PMO is enabled, approvers see the requester's and the covering peer's project allocations for the leave window before deciding.
-
Notifications
Approvers and the covering peer are notified on submission; requester and peer are notified on the decision, by email and in-app.
-
Team visibility
Approvers see pending requests and who is away, so overlapping absences are caught before they bite.
-
Decision timeline
Every submit, approve, reject and cancel is recorded with who and why, so there is no he-said-she-said.
How teams use it
-
Pick dates and a peer
Choose the leave type and window, then appoint the colleague who covers for you.
-
Approvers see the picture
Project allocations for the window, the covering peer's load, and overlapping absences, side by side with the request.
-
Everyone is notified
Emails and in-app notifications go out at submission and at the decision.

Common questions
Who approves leave?
Workspace admins, project managers, and consultant leads: the same people who already approve expenses and timesheets.
Do I have to name a covering peer?
Yes. Every request appoints one colleague who takes cover. It keeps handovers explicit and gives approvers a second signal on team load.
Can approvers see project load before deciding?
Yes. When the PMO product is enabled, the approval view shows the requester's and the peer's allocations for the leave window, plus who else is already away.
What happens after approval?
The approval is recorded with a full timeline and the absence is visible to the team. Marking approved leave in timesheets and PMO planning is on the roadmap.
